Services

Individuals

I meet with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds struggling with issues such as complex and childhood trauma (c-PTSD), negative self-talk, chronic anxiety/ depression and relational issues.

Couples

I work with couples struggling to communicate or emotionally connect with one another. Many problems can arise in your sex life, financially or in family/friend relationships that usually has a base in each partner’s unique life history.

About me

I hold a safe space for all clients’ intersecting identities — culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender. My style is warm, curious and attentive.

My approach is informed by how we view ourselves and the world through relationships (attachment theory) and trauma we have experienced directly or through generations. I’m also influenced by research into mindful self-compassion and “parts work” - the understanding that our personality is not one fixed “me” but made up of many aspects of ourselves like a diverse ecosystem. I additionally have training in CBT and solution-focused brief therapy, which I incorporate throughout sessions when appropriate.

I have a daily meditation practice that influences my approach to a great degree. Meeting regularly for sessions allows me to view the constellation of your experience over time in a way that surfaces patterns and identifies the conditions that keep you stuck or help you to prosper.

Contact

I offer a 15 minute free phone consultation to learn more about why you’re seeking therapy. The phone call also gives us a chance to collaborate to see if I’m a good fit for what you need at this time.
